Pet Behaviour Counselling and Puppy Classes

Hollyoak's own Hayley Katternhorn, VN and Pet Behaviourist (Hons) conducts one-to-one client counselling on a wide variety of pet behavioural issues including: aggression, destructiveness, toilet training, marking, spraying, self mutilation, vocal behaviour, nervousness, car travel, noise and fireworks phobia, and general control.

Consultations are by appointment either at Hollyoak, or in your own home. It lasts for about 60 minutes and all the members of the family are welcome to attend. A comprehensive history of your pet's problem will be taken followed by an assessment of your pet's temperament. Hayley will then explain the reasons for your pet's behaviour problem and help devise a treatment regime.

Behavioural treatment programmes vary according to the nature and severity of the problem. A single consultation is usually enough to allow treatment to be undertaken. Additional telephone advice and after-care support is provided where needed to manage the case. Occasionally further consultations are sometimes required.

In addition, Hayley also conducts a series of Puppy Socialisation classes.  These classes are FREE to all Hollyoak registered clients. It’s great fun for puppies, and for owners too!
