I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2008 and became Head Nurse at a small general practice in 2010. I was in this position for 4 years before deciding to fulfill my dream of working in a referral practice. I joined the Cambridge Vet School Theatre Team in January 2015 but quickly realise that I missed the variety of daily life in general practice and the rapport built with clients when conducting nurse clinics.
Although I gained a lot of knowledge and experience in a short space of time at the Vet School, I decided to return to general practice at Hollyoak Vets. I love being a part of the Hollyoak team, it is very much like having an extended family!
I am clinical coach to our student nurses, I run puppy parties and I have recently started organising our nurse clinics since this is an area of interest to me.
I have 1 cat called Flicker, he has 3 legs and has had a hip replacement – he very much enjoys making the most of his 9 lives!
